What it does for a farm park
Each of these runs in the product today unless it is marked otherwise. You can try the booking flow and open the staff side on Demo Farm, a made-up farm park.
Booked on your own website
Two lines of code on your tickets page. The booking flow sits inside it and takes your colours, so a family is never sent to a ticketing site that does not look like you.
A calendar with the price for each day
A peak Saturday and a quiet weekday are priced separately and shown on the calendar, so people see what a day costs before they choose tickets.
Places counted per person or per family
An activity session with forty places fills as forty people book. A family visit takes one place however many are in the party. You choose for each experience.
A page for each seasonal event
Pin a page to one experience and nothing else is offered there. Your pumpkin page sells pumpkin picking and your Christmas page sells Christmas.
Walk-ups from the same availability
Staff sell to someone paying at the gate, in cash or on your own card machine. The place comes out of the same availability as your website, and the sale carries no fee to us.
More places when the sun comes out
Release more places for a busy date in seconds from one grid of dates and start times. Your booking page updates as you save.
From the first booking to the end of the day
How the pieces fit together on an ordinary open day.
A family books on a phone
They pick a date, a start time and their tickets with a name and an email address. No account is needed, and the total, with any booking fee, is the same from the first step to the last.
They add something extra
Extras are offered with the ticket and take one tap each. Each one joins the running total straight away and shows for staff at the gate.
They arrive at the gate
Every ticket carries a code. Staff scan it with a phone or type the reference, see the party and what they bought, and are told if the family has visited before.
You close up
The door list shows who did not arrive. The takings page adds the day up by card online, cash and card machine, with refunds and the cash to count.
What it does not do yet
Farm parks often ask about these. None of them is in the product today, and each carries its status from our public roadmap.
See the full roadmap, or how TicketHero compares with other kinds of ticketing system.

Questions we are asked
If yours is not here, ask us.
- Can visitors book farm park tickets on our own website?
- Yes. You add two lines of code to any page of your site and the whole booking happens there, in your colours. Visitors are not sent to a separate ticketing site.
- Can we sell day entry and seasonal events from one system?
- Yes. Each is an experience with its own dates, start times, tickets and prices. A page can be pinned to one experience, so your Christmas page sells only Christmas.
- Does TicketHero handle annual passes or memberships?
- Not today. Memberships and season passes are under consideration and have no date. If your park depends on them now, a larger attraction platform is the better choice.
- Can we take walk-up visitors at the gate?
- Yes. Staff sell from the same availability as your website and record cash or a payment on your own card machine. We do not have a card reader of our own, a kiosk or a till for a shop or cafe.
- What does farm park ticketing software cost with TicketHero?
- 1.5% of what you take through it, plus VAT, with no monthly fee and no set-up fee. A quiet month costs nothing. Sales at the gate paid in cash or on your own card machine carry no fee.
- Are farm parks already using TicketHero?
- No. TicketHero is new and is taking on its first venues. The farm park in our demo is made up, and card payments there use a test card.
Where we are today
TicketHero is new and is taking on its first venues. Card payments run in our demo with a test card and are not switched on for any venue yet. You can try the whole product, and we can show you a private preview with your own experiences, before there is anything to pay.
