Opening times

The farm is open from 10:00 to 16:30 on event days, 28 November to 23 December 2026.

Start times for the workshop run from 10:00 to 15:45. Please arrive 15 minutes before yours so there is time to park and walk up to the barn.

  • Your ticket covers the farm for the whole day
  • The café and the animal yard open with the gates
  • The festoon lights come on from mid afternoon

Parking and access

Parking is free and on site, a short level walk from the barn. Accessible bays are nearest the gate.

The yard, the barn and the workshop are step free. The track to the reindeer paddock is firm gravel and fine for pushchairs and wheelchairs in most weather.

  • Accessible toilets and baby changing in the barn
  • Pushchairs can be left under cover by the workshop door
  • Assistance dogs are welcome. Please leave other dogs at home

Food and drink

The barn café is open 10:00 to 16:00, with hot food until 15:00, a children’s menu and plenty of hot chocolate.

If you have booked Workshop & Elf Breakfast, your cooked breakfast is served in the barn as part of your visit.

  • Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices every day
  • High chairs and a bottle warmer in the café
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic for the covered tables in the yard

What to wear

It is a working farm in winter. Much of your visit is outdoors, and the track to the paddock can be muddy after rain.

The workshop and the barn are heated, so layers work best.

  • Warm coats, hats and gloves
  • Wellies or sturdy boots
  • A change of socks for small explorers

Finding us

The farm is at the end of its own lane, about half a mile from the road. The lane is single track with passing places, and the car park is beside the gate.

Demo Farm is a made-up place, so there is no address and no map. On a real venue’s website, both would sit here.

More on finding us

Good to know

Who needs a ticket?

Children aged 2 to 12 and adults each need a ticket. Under 2s come free and are not counted in your group.

How many of us can come on one booking?

Up to 6 guests per booking, and every booking needs at least one child ticket.

What is the difference between the two experiences?

Santa’s Workshop is the visit with Santa and a gift for every child, toy making with the elves and the reindeer. Workshop & Elf Breakfast adds a cooked breakfast in the barn, reserved seats for the elf show and a printed photo with Santa.

When should we arrive?

Start times run from 10:00 to 15:45. Please arrive 15 minutes before yours so there is time to park and walk up to the barn.

Can we buy reindeer food?

Yes. Add a reindeer food bag when you book and collect it at the gate.

What happens if it rains?

We open in all weathers. The workshop, the toy bench and the café are indoors, and there is cover by the paddock.

Is this a real booking?

No. Demo Farm is a made-up venue used to show TicketHero. You can go all the way through the booking, paying with a test card, but nothing is reserved and no real card is charged.
